Here are the stats from Digital Bond’s S4x13 in Miami Beach last week.
- 125 attendees
- 47 of those from 15 countries around the world with Japan, Sweden and Germany bringing a large contingent.
- 22 technical presentations and 8 unsolicited responses
- 90 students attended four different classes, two on Tuesday and two on Friday. The classes were taught by Billy Rios/Terry McCorkle, Travis Goodspeed, atlas 0f d00m and Luigi Auriemma/Donato Ferrante. It will be tough to top this roster of instructors next year.

I echo Ralph’s comment…the ICS/SCADA security community is trying really hard (many doing so behind the scenes and without fanfare). It was a pleasure to be a part of S4 this year…the topics and location were great. I am glad I got to see old friends and make new ones. Too bad we all couldn’t be beach bums.
