Subscriber Content Is Now Available
The Subscriber Section of the website is now up and running. Click on Subscribe in the left hand navigation bar to get details and subscribe.
There is a good and growing amount of content in the Subscriber Only sections including the SCADA IDS signatures and documentation, archived presentions, and archived white papers. The SCADA Honeynet downloads, statistics and documentation will go there shortly. Tools will typically go straight to the Subscriber Only content while presentations and papers will start as free material and move to the Subscriber Only content after a couple of months.
We have one other major part of the site that will go up shortly, the SCADApedia. The SCADApedia will contain fact and the blog will continue to have news and views. For example we have wanted to post some detailed information on security in Allen Bradley PLC’s. There is a lot of factual detail that will be useful as reference that shouldn’t get buried in blog archives. We also have some pretty strong opinions on this which we don’t want to get intermingled with the facts. So we will put the facts in SCADApedia entry and then write a blog entry that excerpts and links to the SCADApedia entry.
Anyone will be able to view the SCADApedia. Subscribers will be able to add entries and edit entries in the SCADApedia. Limiting writing and editing to Subscribers Only allows us to provide quality control on the content.
One of the problems we had with our old site was the difficulty in modifying the SCADA Security section which resulted in rarely changing and dated material. The SCADApedia should solve this and grow in value to the community over time.
A very small portion of the Subscriber Only content will be restricted to vetted asset owners. This is content whose primary purpose is to identify zero-day vulnerabiliities by attacking control system devices. For example, a tool will be available only to vetted subscribers that will test if your ICCP server can be exploited by the published vulnerabilities. This is a prime example of our philosophy of getting research results in the hands of asset owners.
A one year subscription to Digital Bond’s subscriber content is $100.
