ShmooCon 2007
So I happened to (luckily) grab a ticket for ShmooCon 2007, it was unbelieveable how quickly these tickets sold out. They offered the tickets on three dates with three sets of tickets that varied by price.
The con has a diverse set of topics and a limited amount of people, so everyone attending won’t have the problems hearing or seeing like they do at other cons. The larger the conference the harder it is to actually meet key people as well. So if you’re attending and want to meet up, shoot me an email at lewis@digitalbond.com.
I’m looking forward to a few of the topics, especially the ones noted below.
- Seth Fogie - Abusing Windows Mobile Software or Windows Mobile Software: Raw and Exposed
- Ofir Arkin - Bypassing NAC Systems (Part II)
- Hank Leininger and Klayton Monroe - Home-grown Crypto (aka Taking a Shiv to a Gun Fight)
- Chris Paget - WPAD
I’m also going to try to meet Richard Bejtlich from TaoSecurity. I’ve been a long time lurker of his blog. He will be speaking about the pain of IDS/IPS.
