Friday News and Notes
- Balloting of IEEE P1686 was successful with an 85% return rate and 80% approval rate.
- There are two fantastic control system security funding opportunities open right now. Of course Digital Bond is in the process of submitting proposals to both.
- The Department of Energy has an opportunity for up to $2M of research funding. Cost sharing and proof of concept is required. An award to four project teams is expected.
- DHS Science & Technology HSARPA has $4.5M to award, with individual awards ranging from $750K or less to $2M. Look at BAA07-09 on this page to see a general description. You will need to read to register for login credentials to read the details. I’ve seen a few posts on news lists ridiculing DHS for requesting white papers. This is a misunderstanding. Submitting a white paper is part of the process to win the funding.
