As an illustration of one end of the spectrum of responsible disclosure, I think the current RealWin vulnerability might be newsworthy: http://www.securityfocus.com/archive/1/496759
I must admit that I laughed when I visited the RealFlex web site and saw that “SECURE SCADA SOFTWARE” was part of the title.
